Elgin Factory Mainspring for 8/0s Movements Factory No. 5219 - Steel

Elgin Factory Mainspring for 8/0s movements, Factory No. 5219, steel, new in envelope. See image for further details. While these are good in all of the 8/0s grades, they were also used in the A11 military movements and were frequently sold in large batches (usually in a sealed box) with no markings on the envelope - these are almost always .042 strength mainsprings, proper for Grade 539 movements and others as well. These mainsprings were available in several different strengths and those that I can supply are shown in the drop-down list. Elgin mainsprings are typically coated in very old grease and must be cleaned before use. I likely have several of these so the one you get may differ slightly from the images.
