Waltham Factory Mainspring for 0s & 3/0s No. 2278A / 2228 - Alloy

Waltham Mainspring for 0s & 3/0s Model 1900 movements, Factory No. 2278A / 2228, alloy, new in envelope. These require a bit of explanation - for some reason Waltham issued the 2278 Alloy for 1907 model, as an alloy replacement for the steel 2230, but didn't for the 1900 model, which uses a steel 2228. They came back later, probably because people were complaining, and created the 2278A to fill that void. This is a pretty uncommon factory mainspring, although it's pretty easy to find in alloy cataloged as a 2228 when a HR or Bestfit mainspring. If your watch calls for a 2228 and you want an alloy, this is the correct mainspring for that application. I specialize in hard to find watch parts and all watch parts are unconditionally guaranteed.
